Cristina Pierson is an experienced trial attorney with a diverse track record of successfully representing both individuals and companies with her legal knowledge, litigation skills, and courtroom effectiveness. Her practice is dedicated to complex civil cases including class action, qui tam, and commercial litigation. Ms. Pierson has served as lead and co-lead counsel in national and state class action cases, with an emphasis on consumer protection.
Career
Ms. Pierson completed her undergraduate work in criminal justice at the University of Florida in 1987. After spending time working in the insurance industry, she went on to law school and received her law degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1993. Ms. Pierson graduated magna cum laude and received honors for her work on law review and moot court.
Ms. Pierson is Board Certified as a Business Litigation Specialist by the Florida Bar, a designation reserved for just 1% of Florida’s 90,000 lawyers. She is also AV® Rated by Martindale-Hubbell® – the highest rank awarded by the national rating agency. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth and Eleventh Circuits.
