The Memorandum Featured on TRIAL Podcast

Rich Newsome has launched a new podcast series called TRIAL, a program that chronicles true stories from the courtroom. Bob Kelley, founding partner of Kelley | Uustal, was deeply honored and truly excited to be Newsome’s first guest on the show.

In the near-hour long episode, The Smoking Gun, the two award winning attorneys discuss one of Kelley’s most notable cases against General Motors, which became a national news story and is now the subject of Kelley’s debut novel. The Memorandum, which hit Amazon in November, quickly became an #1 Best Seller in multiple categories including Litigation and Personal Injury Law. Since its release, Kelley’s debut legal thriller has received praise from multiple bar association presidents and many of the best trial lawyers in the country.

This podcast gives listeners further insight into the brutal fight to uncover corporate documents for a family who lost their child, and the ultimate disclosure of a smoking gun memorandum that came to light which concluded in a record-setting civil jury verdict. In this riveting conversation, we’ll hear from Kelley himself on the ins and outs of the case, and what a tireless pursuit of justice really looks like. It’s a must listen for lawyers and non-lawyers alike.
