Kelley/Uustal is pleased to announce that Attorney José Javier Rodríguez has been appointed to the Florida Bar’s Standing Committee on Consumer Protection Law. The committee, which is comprised of accomplished lawyers from across the state, is dedicated to educating consumers and members of the bar about consumer protection laws.
With efforts that include public outreach events, consumer publications, and continuing legal education (CLE) programs, the committee strives to protect consumers from fraud and unfair practices. Committee members also provide technical assistance memoranda on proposed legislation and expert resources to the Judiciary and Legislature.
Attorney Rodríguez’ appointment to the bar speaks volumes about his experience in the field of consumer law, as well as his passion for advocating on behalf of everyday citizens. Having dedicated his professional career to protecting the rights of individuals, he regularly represents clients engaged in litigation involving business disputes, defective products, financial misconduct, and employment matters.
