This November, Kelley | Uustal is sponsoring the 6th Annual Make Our Schools Safe Golf Classic. All proceeds go directly to Make Our Schools Safe and its work to protect students and educators.
Make Our Schools Safe was created in memory of Alyssa Alhadeff, one of the 17 lives taken in the 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. Her parents, Lori and Ilan Alhadeff, turned an unthinkable loss into an organization that advocates for school safety. At the center of that advocacy is Alyssa’s Law, which calls for silent panic alarms in schools that link directly to law enforcement. It has now passed in 13 states, including Florida.
Parkland is part of the Kelley | Uustal community. Every child deserves to be safe at school, in Broward and everywhere else. MOSS has spent eight years working to make that happen, and the K|U team is honored to keep showing up for them.
