Toys and children’s product recalls are all too common in the United States. This holiday season, stay alert for children’s products, such as toys and strollers, that may be dangerous. Below, you will find five children’s products recently recalled for safety liability.
- Avigo 20 Inch Turn N’ Burn Youth Bicycles
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the front wheel of the bike can detach, causing an accident and possible injuries. The recall applies to bicycles with model numbers 8107-62. The bikes are silver with blue handlebars and blue accents. - “Just Like Home” Toy Toaster Sets
Toys R Us recently recalled “Just Like Home” toy toaster sets because they pose a choking hazard to small children. When placed under pressure, the plastic toast can break into small, sharp pieces. The set is sold with a 4-inch tall teal-blue toaster and two pieces of plastic toast. - Koala Children’s Sandals with Butterfly Wings
Koala brand children’s sandals with butterfly accents may pose a choking hazard to small children. According to a recall issued by Toys R Us, the wings can detach from the shoe, creating small pieces. Consumers can receive a refund for the product. - Dream On Me Play Yards
Dream On Me Play Yards are sold by Toys R Us, Walmart, Kohl’s, and Amazon. According to the recall, the product’s rails can collapse, presenting a strangulation hazard to children. The recall affects approximately 10,000 units. - 11 Models of Graco Strollers
This recall affects 11 models of Graco strollers, including the Solara, Sierra, LiteRider, Kite, Glider, Cirrus, Capri, Breeze, Sterling, TravelMate, and Aspen models.
