Kelley | Uustal Welcomes José Javier Rodríguez to the Firm

Kelley | Uustal is proud to announce the addition of José Javier Rodríguez, Esq., to its roster of outstanding trial attorneys. Mr. Rodríguez is a litigator who has consistently fought for the rights of individuals and those who would not otherwise have access to the legal system, particularly in Florida’s diverse minority communities.

Having attended two of the finest schools in the country – Brown University followed by Harvard Law School – Mr. Rodríguez turned down lucrative job offers elsewhere to return home to South Florida and use his education to give back to the community, seeking justice for everyday people as a legal services attorney from 2006 to 2011.

Mr. Rodriguez states “No matter who you are, you deserve a chance to be heard and to have someone fighting for you, particularly if you have been wronged or have been injured through no fault of your own. I’ve dedicated my career to making sure that those who most need help get a fair shot at justice.”

In private practice since 2011, Mr. Rodríguez has focused his practice on representing individuals in complex litigation related to business and commercial disputes, dangerous and defective products, financial misconduct, and personal injury matters.

“We are thrilled to have someone of Jose’s caliber join our ranks. As an advocate of justice for all, his experience, background, and forward momentum fit right in with our vision and mission” says John J. Uustal, Esq., on behalf of the firm.

While his primary practice will be in Broward County, in 2012, Mr. Rodríguez was elected to the Florida House of Representatives to represent the residents of his home District 112 (Miami, Coral Gables, and Key Biscayne) in Tallahassee.
